Breaking away from the rigid structure of Classical Pilates, Clinical Pilates introduced a tiered system, categorising exercises into progressive levels. This approach aims to mitigate the risk of poor technique and injuries by providing a pathway for individuals to gradually build strength, mobility, and proprioception.


One of the hallmarks of Clinical Pilates is its emphasis on progression without compromising safety. While Classical Pilates may offer a challenging repertoire from the outset, APPI Clinical Pilates prioritises foundational movements, allowing participants to develop a strong understanding of technique before advancing to higher levels.


By breaking down the Classical Pilates repertoire into levels, Clinical Pilates fosters inclusivity and accessibility, catering to individuals with varying fitness levels and rehabilitation needs. Bridging Tradition and Innovation: Our Foundations in Pilates Course


As we navigate the dynamic landscape of Pilates methodologies, our Foundations in Pilates Course serves as a bridge between tradition and innovation. Through six immersive sessions, held on Thursdays at 18:00, participants will delve into the foundational movements of Pilates, guided by our experienced Physiotherapist instructor, Jen, who prioritises safety, alignment, and individualised attention.


Our supportive WhatsApp group fosters a sense of community, where participants can share insights, seek guidance, and celebrate their progress together.
